So I had a little break from my regular life over Christmas and whilst at home I got some time to get the sketchbook out. I was quite excited about this as this is something i rarely get time to do. Most evenings are taken up and so sitting in front of the telly doodling is something i don't do very often. This was my opportunity. It was pretty freeing to just draw away doing whatever i decided to do at the time, and I ended up creating lots of patterns. I only had limited supplies with me so that restricted what I could do also. I have to say i thoroughly enjoyed it. Hopefully I'll be able to carry on this way of working. I do use sketchbooks but they are always more for ideas and thumbnails than anything else, pretty messy. Having a bit of time gave me the luxury of creating a potential pretty page :). Here are some of my favourites.
The last one I did whilst watching The great Gatsby. I'd never seen it and I loved the party scenes!
